A new entrant in Singapore’s Burrito Scene: Chipotle is on the way

Lime, cilantro, guacamole and tortilla chips.

Specialising in customisable burritos, tacos and rice bowls, its menu will be the same as those in the US and internationally. Featuring crowd favorites, the chain will also sell plant-based options including Sofritas, a plant-based protein.

Chipotle’s expansion to Singapore accompanies its recent strategy to enter international markets in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East as well as Mexico in the following year.
Its entry could reshape the local Mexican fast-casual market , amping up comptetion with existing players such as Australian-born Guzman y Gomez and homegrown brand Stuff’d.

For now, fans can look forward to smoky beans, creamy guacamole, and the chance to finally try their own Chipotle burrito right here in Singapore.
