High-class event back in Singapore!
Be prepared to cover your ears and watch your step while crossing the street! After two years of absence, the Formula 1 Grand Prix will finally be back in Singapore for another seven years. For the fourth time, the small country will host one of the most high-class events in the world.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the event has been canceled in previous years, but in a few months, the streets of Marina Bay will be filled with racing cars going 200 miles an hour. Due to the prevailing Covid-19 circumstances, Covid-safety will be prioritized and ensured in line with the event though.
According to “Mr. Iswaran”, the Minister in charge of Trade Relations and Transport, the decision was made after evaluating the long-term benefits Singapore will get by hosting the Formula 1 Grand Prix. The Evaluations concluded that the event would generate outstanding economic benefits and contribute to Singapore sustaining a good reputation globally.
