Jeff Bezos has stepped down from his role as the CEO of Amazon.

Bezos had founded this company 27 years back when it was just an online bookstore. The trillion-dollar company now has products and services in e-commerce, data storage, logistics and more.

The richest man looks forward to spending more time developing new products as Amazon’s Executive Chairman, and he has full confidence in the next CEO.

His successor has been in the company for almost as long as him.
