SG mum-influencer accused of “exploiting” her daughter for internet fame

In a TikTok video that went viral, Sarah Cheng-De Winne, who also goes by the nickname Sarah X. Miracle, posted a “point of view” video of her daughter collecting her O-level results. The 16-year-old teenager looked emotionally distressed as she exclaimed “so bad, it’s so bad guys”, upon seeing her results.

This sparked a heated debate on whether it was appropriate for the mother to post a video of a child during their vulnerable moments. Many social media users criticised Ms Cheng-De Winne for seemingly using her daughter to create content.
